Eye and Organ donation program held

Dev Samaj College of Education(DSCE) held an eye and organ donation program at its premises at Sector 36-B, here. The activity was organized by DSCE in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh, to mark eye donation week, which is annually observed from August 25 to September 8.
The awareness session, organized by the NSS units and Eye Donation Club of DSCE, saw an overwhelming response from the students. Dr. Agnese Dhillon welcomed the honorable guests for the session. The institution also presented a cheque of Rs One lakh to Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization, ROTTO (North) as a donation.
The event took place under the able guidance of Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj, and Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education. The chief guest was Dr. Vipin Kaushal, MS and Head, Department of Hospital Administration, PGIMER cum Nodal Officer, Rotto (North).
